Junior VolunTIRRs is the young professional volunteer group that assists TIRR Foundation in its mission to improve the lives of people with physical disabilities. While the Junior VolunTIRRs support all of the initiatives of the Foundation, their focus is on children. Every year, the Junior's host a themed party to raise funds for various TIRR Foundation programs.
On Saturday, February 12, 2011, the Junior VolunTIRRs hosted their 5th annual fundraising event, Animal House- Get Your Toga on with TIRR, at House of Blues in Houston. Guests were encouraged to dress in togas or as their favorite Animal House character. Everyone enjoyed awesome tunes provided by The Spazmatics, great food and drinks, a photo booth, and so much more! The proceeds from this event were used to support Project Victory, a traumatic brain injury rehabilitation program that serves active military and veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
